Four Evenings of March | Thursday 7–9 PM | Small Group (6 people only)
Location is at Jingjing's home at the Brook, 3-min drive from NMIT. Course material will be sent to your email once the course starts.
This intimate hands-on four-week course is designed for healers, bodyworkers, and anyone supporting the wellbeing of others who wants to deepen their understanding of sound, movement, subtle energy and native plant wisdom in a practical, grounded way.
Each evening we will explore:
-Healing Sounds Qi Gong to regulate breath, release tension, and harmonise internal energy
-Traditional knowledge of four native healing plants and their applications for supporting clients
-Tikanga for harvesting, preparing, and respecting rongoā—what to do and what not to do
-Guided, step-by-step instruction so you can confidently integrate these practices
-Partner-based learning, with opportunities to practise on and receive from each other
-A supportive space to connect with like-minded practitioners
This is a structured course, not a drop-in class. You will receive course materials and weekly homework (about 1 hour) to help you embody the practices between sessions.
By the end of four weeks, you will have:
-Personal experience of Healing Sounds Qi Gong as a useful tool for yourself and your clients
-Practical knowledge of native plants and some of their traditional applications
-Understanding of tikanga and cultural respect when working with rongoā
-Confidence to use these approaches for self-care
-A deeper sense of connection—to breath, body, nature, and community
Limited to six participants to ensure personal guidance and meaningful group learning.
