Our body works hard every day— long days on our feet, changing seasons, dry skin, small aches that linger, and the quiet stress we carry without noticing. Sometimes what we need is not something strong or complicated, but something gentle, familiar, and grounding.
Kawakawa has been treasured in Aotearoa for generations. It's recognisable by its heart-shaped leaves, and has traditionally been used to support the skin, calm irritation, and bring comfort to the person. In te ao Māori, kawakawa is the first plant gifted to humankind by IO, sent to Papatūānuku after the separation from Ranginui — a plant offered to soothe, restore, and nurture wairua and hauora in times of change.
Today, as kawakawa becomes more widely used commercially, its presence nationally is declining. Respectful harvesting and mindful use are essential for the future generations. Because of its strong wairua, only a small amount is needed to receive its benefit.
Super Kawakawa Rolling Oil was created with this philosophy in mind.
A concentrated, small-batch hinu (oil) designed for gentle, practical care — applied sparingly to support affected skin patch, ease minor discomfort, settle insect bites or rashes, or offer a moment of calm when you feels tired.
Easy to carry, simple to apply, and designed to become part of your daily rhythm of self-care.
How to Use
Roll a small amount onto the area that needs support —
dry skin, insect bites, tension spots, or pulse points for a calming ritual.
Use as needed. A little goes a long way.
